Modelling and Simulation (B16.1)
Today was the opening event of the seminar on modelling and simulation (B16.1 MoSim at HTW Berlin, FB1). You will find here information about the materiale used in class, recommended readings and homework assignments. If you are a student of this course you are encouraged to make comments, give feedback or ask questions. If you are not one of those students, still I'm happy to see your comments. But please understand that my resources are limited to answer your questions.
We have been talking about practical issues. Most information you can find here:
The handouts of the presentation can be reviewed as well as the demo models:- Crane Model
- Fractal Robot Arm
- Step Response with a P Controller
- Rhombic Drive for Stirling Engine
- Magnified Views of the Mandelbrot Set
- Rhombic Drive for Speed Governor
- Lorenz Attractor
- Julia Sets and the Mandelbrot Set
- Iterates, Cycles, and Bifurcations of the Logistic Map
- Inflating a Koch Snowflake
- A Two-State, Discrete-Time Markov Chain
- Finite-State, Discrete-Time Markov Chains
Homework assignment for next seminar is reading the first chapter in H. Unbehauen: "Regelungstechnik I". Fokus on block diagrams in section 1.2. We will need it!
